SESLOC's Fifth Branch Settling Into Home Building

April 19, 2008 - The Tribune

The county's fifth branch of SESLOC Federal Credit Union featuring the company's first drive-through teller is shaping up at 8380 El Camino Real near Food 4 Less supermarket in Atascadero.

Designed with earth-tone colors and teal accents, the interior of the 3,620-square-foot building will have an information center and a waiting area that highlights a mural of local scenery. Computers will be available for members to access their accounts online.

The company serves more than 4,000 Atascadero residents at other area locations, so the addition was a natural progression, said Carla Swift, director of marketing.

Eight employees will staff the branch, which is set to open in the fall, she said.

The branch, which has been in the works since November, includes an employee "quiet room" for breaks and a 12-space parking lot.

SESLOC, founded in 1942, is the county's third-largest credit union with about 36,000 members.
